What hair types is the KONSOE HP009 suitable for?
The 11 adjustable heat settings make it suitable for fine, medium, thick and coarse hair. Begin with the lowest effective temperature and increase gradually when needed.
What temperature should I use?
- Fine or delicate hair: 130–150°C
- Medium hair: 160–190°C
- Thick or coarse hair: 200–230°C
Always consider your hair’s condition and use a heat protectant before styling.
How quickly does it heat up?
The PTC heating system is designed to reach styling temperature in approximately 30 seconds. Heating time may vary slightly depending on the selected setting.
How large are the plates?
The extra-wide plates measure approximately 110 × 50 mm, allowing them to cover larger sections of hair with each pass—especially useful for long, thick or voluminous hair.
How do I adjust the temperature?
Press and hold the lower button to switch the straightener on. Short-press the upper button to cycle through the available temperature settings. The selected temperature appears on the digital display.
Does it have a travel lock?
Yes. The built-in locking buckle keeps the plates closed for neater, more compact storage. Allow the straightener to cool completely before locking or packing it.
Can I use it internationally?
The HP009 supports 110–240V and 50–60Hz dual voltage. A compatible plug adapter may still be required depending on your destination.
Does the cord rotate?
Yes. The 360° swivel cord moves with your hand to reduce tangling and provide more freedom while styling.
Can it be used on wet hair?
No. Use the straightener only on completely dry, detangled hair. Applying high heat to wet or damp hair may cause damage.
How should I clean the plates?
Unplug the straightener and allow it to cool completely. Wipe the plates and exterior gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance in water or use abrasive cleaners.
